The council
Six members. Each is a markdown file holding a written voice, a craft they own and the kind of work they leave behind.
The members
| Member | Craft | In their words |
|---|---|---|
| Mimir | The host | ask me when you do not know who you need |
| Eitri | Architecture | will it hold, and what does it commit us to |
| Skuld | Product | what ships, what is cut, and what done means |
| Freyja | Design | reality is a draft, and here is the better one |
| Heimdall | Security | who can abuse this, and what it costs |
| Ullr | Quality | does it actually work, or does it look like it works |
Mimir sits in every conversation. He does none of the crafts himself. He works out what is being decided, whose call it is and when it is finished, and he holds every member to their own bar.
Seating members
Click a face on Home to start a conversation with that member, or type to start with the whole table. In a conversation, + seat adds a member, and addressing one by name with @ in the composer seats them for that message.
Editing a member
Open Personas from the sidebar to read any member's profile and contract. Editing one never changes the shipped file. It writes a copy in your own layer, and Revert deletes that copy, so an edit can always be undone.
Adding your own
Press New persona on the Personas page, or ask Mimir to draft one.
Planning a mission
The members also help you plan. Inside a project, ask the council for a mission and one of them proposes the phases, the criteria and who should carry each. Skuld is the natural one to ask about scope, and Mimir will route the question if you are not sure. Missions explains how a proposal becomes the plan.
Decisions
When the table reaches a decision it is recorded, and it is shown again when the same question comes up, so it does not get reopened. Earlier conversations are recalled into a request when they match it (Settings › Advanced › Retrieval sets how many; zero switches it off).
